Freediving and Sailing Adventure

An amazing adventure in the beautiful water of the South West region. Two days of exploration under and above the surface.

We will be basing ourselves on the magic 65 ft ketch rigged “Starsand”. Stepping onto her is like stepping back in time, back to a time of strength and quality. At 20 m and 40 tonnes she is a formidable little ship. Approved by the Maritime authorities to operate up to 200 nm offshore. Mixed with this strength is beauty. Traditional solid timber fit out and all the mod cons make your trip extremely comfortable.

During this adventure you will learn how to sail with theoretical and practical classes guided by our expert skipper and instructor Matt.
At the same time you will be introduced to the freediving world if you have never tried it, or, if you have already some experience, you will benefit from the coaching of our professional freediving instructor Dario. With his 10 years of experience he will safely teach you how to extend your breath hold and get you to depths you may have thought impossible.

We will explore the majestic HMAS Swan Wreck. She was the last River Class Destroyer Escort built in 1965. She was scuttled to form a dive wreck and artificial reef out off the coast of Dunsborough in December 1997. The Swan is over 113 m long and over 20 m wide. She sits at a maximum depth of 31 m.
Don`t worry, we won`t miss the colourful and alive Busselton Jetty with the new underwater sculptures trail. 12 sculptures of different materials created by local artists.
